Speedy Beijing Runner

A celebration of wonderful Beijing, its cityscape and people portrayed in a minimalistic and 2D-pixel art style. This is not just a game, but a tribute to the beautiful city of Beijing, where its urban landscape and typical characters are presented in a 2D pixelated way. The goal of the game is simple: try to run as far as possible, and while running, collect the game's currency, Jiaozi, which will be used to unlock more backgrounds, such as the 798 art district or Houhai Lake, more playable characters, and extra items, like a Beijinger dog named Dudu or a brand new LaoBeijinger certificate. The BEIJING RUNNER is a bilingual game, available in English and Chinese, and equally features Chinese and foreign characters, aiming to bring laughter and irony from both sides, as a statement of friendship. The game features an amazing soundtrack, contributed by local Beijing bands and artists, which players can select as background music or simply listen to. The game does not require an internet connection to play and does not collect user data.
