In 1922, Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo requested permission from Ki Ageng Ngabei Surowiryo to establish a loyal training program for the young generation. The request was granted, but with the condition that it had to be under a different name. At that time, it was called the Faithful Youth Sports Club, and it later became the organization of Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate in 1948, during its first congress in Madiun City.

After World War II, PSHT developed rapidly and is now the largest martial arts organization in Indonesia, with nearly 200 branches in cities across the country. There are also branches in Japan, Malaysia, and Russia.

One of the key figures who contributed to the growth of PSHT is Mas Irshad, a student of Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo, who created 90 basic gymnastics and fighting styles with daggers and sticks that distinguish it from other martial arts.

Terate Fighter is a fighting game themed around Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate. The game features great graphics, challenging gameplay, and the ability to upgrade your fighter's power in the Terate Shop. There are three different fighting locations in Madiun City: Timbul Jaya Plaza, Padepokan Terate, and the Madiun Municipal Office. The Terate Fighter can also transform into a Super Terate with multiplied power. The game has eight different enemies and two powerful boss enemies to defeat.
