Falling Fruit is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, USA. All revenue generated from app sales goes towards maintaining our server infrastructure. Your support is invaluable in keeping the project operational.

Our worldwide edible map aims to be the most extensive of its kind, building upon existing knowledge. While users contribute new locations, we scour the internet to aggregate pre-existing data, bringing together the collective efforts of foragers, foresters, and freegans globally. We incorporate diverse datasets, from local foraging maps to comprehensive tree inventories, encompassing thousands of edible species across thousands of cities worldwide. Foraging in your neighborhood offers a culinary journey through time and cultures, from familiar cultivated plants to rare and forgotten native species.
