Metal Guardian

Metal Ranger is a 2D shooter with a nostalgic feel of 1980s sci-fi action movies and games. You play as a ranger in powerful steel armor, fighting giant alien mutant insects. Utilize a variety of deadly weapons, including an assault rifle, M134 Minigun machine gun, grenade launcher, laser gun, plasma gun, and flamethrower. Complete missions to earn coins and upgrade your armor and HP. Your journey begins in a Martian colony's factory compound, progressing through industrial underground vaults and metal walkways to a futuristic city with a retro/cyberpunk atmosphere. Battle tough monster bosses, including a huge armored slug and gigantic spider. The game features neon signs, halos around lights, and metal ramps, accompanied by a synthwave soundtrack and side-scrolling action, evoking the golden era of video games, arcades, and VHS tapes.
